Universal Pictures could be eyeing big-name director David Leitch to make the next Jurassic World movie. Deadline reports that Leitch is in “early talks” to direct the movie, which is set for release on July 2, 2025.
This new film is expected to be a “completely fresh take” for the series and will not feature Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, the stars of the Jurassic World series. The original trilogy’s stars–including Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum–are also not expected to return.
